Jeremy Rey with a first time wally at NHRA FallNationals!

Jeremy Rey runs a 5.785 holeshot (.038) over Justin Bond 5.774 (.054) to win a first wally at an NHRA event.

Jeremy Ray raced to his first career victory during the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service portion of the AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals. The FallNationals was this year is the the 10th of 12 races this season.

“We just had to keep everything together,” Ray stated. “You have to be perfect every time you go up to the line. Everything worked well here though. The tuning was good, I was driving good and was able to just keep ahead on everything.”

Jeremy Rey came through semis when Sidnei Frigo red light at the starting line running (.048) 5.797-247.20.

In another semis Justin Bond ran Shane Molinari's Firebird to a 5.770 over Todd Tutterow 5.848 to upset yet another finals without any of the Al Anabi cars.

With only two races left to award the NHRA 2018 series champion top 4 on the table will be closely watched. Though missing yet another finals,AAP Mike Janis still has 25point lead and might just be the series favorite to take it home.
