Brandon Snider in Qatar with the rest of the Al Anabi Performance!

NHRA Season 2018 is over and what a season it has been for Al Anabi Performance team which had a total of five pro mods in this year's competition.

They went ahead and bagged the NHRA 2018 Pro Mod E3 Spark Plugs presented by J&A Service Champion with Mike Janis steering the AAP/MJR supercharged Camaro. Mike Janis Jr. went ahead and bagged the crew chief of the year award which was well deserved.
''Have been getting a lot of phone calls and people stopping in offering congrats for receiving the Crew Chief Of The Year award. Wanted to say thank you to everyone.''Mike Janis at the gala awards ceremony.

A lot of success in the  NHRA 2018 Series went to the Qatar based racing team. Mike Castellana with Frank Manzo reset the NHRA Pro Mod E.T record and attempted to reset it several times. But the fan is not over yet as we start 2019, the AAP team struts up ready for the off season testing alongside racing in the Arabian Drag Racing League; arguably the biggest drag racing championship in the Middle East!

We caught up with Brandon Snider on the second day of testing after Todd Tutterow set the pace for the off season preps  with a 3.7s blast with a straight off the trailer car.

Mike Janis and his crew that lifted the NHRA 2018 Pro Mod E3 Spark Plugs presented by J&A Service season champion are heading there too with a lot of motor shipping for some serious tests in the middle east rich nation.

A total of 5 cars have already arrived in Qatar. Maybe we will get to see more teams heading down there for the winter testing at Qatar Racing Club, who knows?

Qatar Racing Club drag strip is one of the smoothest and flattest drag strip in the world(thanks to the low altitude of Qatar) . With a world class facility run by H.E Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, its definitely a wonder land for teams wanting to test new stuff before NHRA returns. As its center of operations, the home of Al Anabi Racing will be hosting these AAP teams, as we gear up for another exciting 109 NHRA racing season!

Good thing we are here...following them to the core. You might want to subscribe for that.
