Round 3 of the Qatar drift championship is a wrap! What a way to see out 2018. There was an electric vibe this round which previous rounds seemed to be lacking.

Mohamad Alkhaiat Racing Team won Qatar Drift Championship [Pro Category] Round 3 last night.

This was the first time the team won a 3rd back-to-back championship here in Qatar!Kuwait Drifter Hamad Al Hajri took 2nd as Waleed Salim settled for 3rd.

In the Semi Pro Kuwaiti,Bakheet Al Hajri snatched the first place,Mohammed Al Jaber continued his good run in 2018 with another podium appearance to settle at 2nd and Mohammed Al Joundiu taking 3rd!
The drivers were excited and out in full force and the spectators were cheering and jumping about all night! All of the drivers put on a fantastic show and there were some very close battles in PRO class.
Abdullah Al-Mohtaseb from Brother Team Drift stepped up to the Pro class and came up against M.Fakhroo  in the first round.

Despite having half the horsepower of M.Fakhroo V8 twin turbo Nissan Silvia S13, Abdullah and his beautiful supercharged Nissan 370z gave him a run for his money and ended up with a One More Time from the judges.

Unfortunately aa87 and his s13 were to good and he was defeated in the One more time battle. The undefeated champions MK Racing were out to get 3 wins in a row and after an incredible display of driving Mohamad Al Khaiat took home his 3rd win of the championship.

A massive thank you to Qatar Racing Club for putting on such a high level event. Bring on ROUND 4.
